2nd Anniversary

This year, Justin decided he wanted to surprise me for our anniversary. Although I was REALLY curious to know what the plans were, I'm so glad he made me wait and be surprised. We started our anniversary off right with a midnight run to Sonic. Probably not the healthiest decision, but it was delicious!

Monday morning Justin brought me breakfast in bed, and then proceeded to pack for me. Yikes! I was really nervous but he did a great job.

We headed out to the Marriot at the Shops of Legacy where Justin had made us reservations.
*thank you Marriot.com for the first picture :)

We got checked into our hotel then headed out to do some shopping in some of the little shops that were close to our hotel. We had lots of success :)

After we shopped we went back to our hotel and took a power nap. Once we were rested, we got ready for dinner.

We had dinner reservations at a restaurant called Jaspers. It was such a great place! They had a romantic atmosphere and great food!!

I had Pan Seared Salmon and Justin had the Hickory Grilled Angus Filet. They were both delicious!

For dessert we had Paciugo. Yum!! Peanut butter Chocolate-Chip has become my newest addiction.

This was our view while we ate our ice cream. It was great to watch the colors change, but it was really fun to watch all the kids playing by it. We are pretty sure that one little boy thought he was making the colors and height change :)

When were back at the hotel we headed down to the heated pool and hot tub. The heated pool was warm-ish, but we stayed in the hot tub.

Today we came home and decided to spend the day relaxing. Reese and Justin are currently doing just that...

  1. Sounds like such a fun time! Justin did a great job planning. Paciugo is one of my favorites, and we went to Jasper's for Valentine's last year. Both very yummy choices!!

    Happy Anniversary!
