Life Group Lake Day!

The adult Sunday School class that Justin and I are a part of (even though we teach youth Sunday mornings) has become so large that we recently divided into life groups. This is a way for us to stay connected with a 5-6 specific couples in our class. We decided to celebrate our new life group by spending the day at the lake! Whitney Dial's family has a lake house, jet ski's, etc and offered to host us for the day...so we picked a day, loaded up, and headed out!

This is Lexi Dial (Jorden and Whitney's dog)! She was the first one in the water and the last one out. This dog LOVES the lake! Reese would not have shared her enthusiasm so he spent the day with his girlfriend Jasmine next door.

Justin finally got to join us around 6pm after a study course he took to prep for his CFP test. In no time Jorden had him out on the water enjoying the lake! Jorden is driving and Justin is behind on the tube.


The guys finished eating and then started getting ready to set off fireworks.

The fire works show was great! Justin's uncle had given him some firework last summer (that we didn't get to use due to my surgery), so we brought them out to the lake to set off. It was great show complete with a "big cat", 2 "storm troopers", a "plumbers crackle" and sparklers (those were mainly for the girls).

After the fireworks show Mrs. Apel (Whitney's mom) set up dessert for us. What a perfect way to end the night!!


We drove back that night stinky and tired, but I am happy to report there were no injuries, no sunburns, and everyone made it to church the next morning :). Can't wait for our next event!!
