Trick-or-Treat

Last Friday was "Storybook Character Day" at my school. All the students and teachers drss up like their favorite character and wear their costumes all day long. Here I am along with te 5th grade teacher and Music teacher.

In my class I had 2 football players, Fancy Nancy, a witch, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Darth Vador, and many more! What a fun day!!

This year for Halloween, we decided to stay home and pass out Halloween candy with our neighbors. It was a lot of fun! The guys stayed inside with the dogs and watched the Rangers, while Alyssa and I sat outside and passed out candy.





We had lots of kids come by. It was slow at first, but before we knew it, there were kids coming from every direction!

The worst trick-or-treater was a 12(ish) year old kid who had his dad drive him literally from house to house, he got out of the car WITHOUT a costume on and shoved his Olive Garden To-Go bag in my face.
No costume + no "trick-or-treat" + no effort + no smile = 1 pixie stick and the stink eye.

Our cutest trick-or-treater was a 3 year old who proudly told us she was "an apple tree". The little sister was in the stroller behind her dressed as an apple to match. Her parents just smiled and said that she wanted to be either an apple tree or broccoli, so they got creative. She had a green sweat shirt on with leaves and apples attached to it, and brown tights as her "trunk". Loved it!! Last year apparently she was an umbrella and her sister was a rain drop. She got 2 BIG handfuls of candy :)
